The CMAS Quebec just sent us a letter directed to Quebec government to support the project of recognition of the Saint Laurent River as National Heritage of Quebec.

The point is not to create a sanctuary where everything would be forbidden but to implement some rules in order to protect the extraordinary natural resources of this great river, especially the marine mammals living in it, but also to promote a balanced development of the human activities.
