UCPA is now partner with Longitude 181 Nature !

Posté Mercredi 08 Juillet 2009 par Véronique

We are pleased to welcome UCPA as a member of our organization !

UCPA (Union nationale des Centres Sportifs de Plein Air - French NGO non-profit youth organization) officially becomes our partner. It takes up the International Guidelines for Divers which will be handed out and taught in its diving centers.

First diving school in France, UCPA is managing close to 20 diving centers, whose 7 in metropolitan territory, and the others split between French Caribbean islands and International destinations. It hosts all levels divers and trains the future instructors.

Including the Guidelines into all its trainings, especially instructors' ones, UCPA will contribute to a wide spread of the Guidelines and, hopefully, to everyone's awareness of the necessity of a more responsible diving.

UCPA is a non-profit making French organization (in accordance with the French Act of 1901) which is specialized in outdoor activity holidays for young people aged 7 to 17 and 18 to 39 years old. Its philosophy (the "UCPA PROJECT") is simple and honest : "to provide an opportunity for young people to experience the outdoors through sport ". UCPA has over 90 sport centers and more than 40 different activities to choose from. Over a quarter of a million people take a holiday with UCPA each year. The centers are located throughout France and the French territories e.g. Guadeloupe, Martinique, Corsica.
